  • Len Mallozzi

Born & raised in a suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvannia, Len is a true Floridian born north. The exchange of frost bite for sunburn happened in the late 80's with his move to Port Charlotte.
As a youngster, Len would often nuture injured wildlife to health and boasted a variety of pets in his youth which helped spur his interest in animal medicine. A turning point in his life was meeting his local veterinarian where he secured employment for over 15 years and a lifelong friendship. This is where Len put himself through college and received most of his on the job training as a veterinary technician.
Len is a 1977 graduate of Penn State University with a BS in Animal Science. He came to Pampered Pet Health Center in August of 2005, where he is most happy working in his field and has been given the opportunity to further his education in areas such as anesthesia and dentistry.
Uncovering Len's hidden talents, one would discover that he is an accomplished floral designer, plays the piano and considers himself a good cook. When not working, you can find Len just puttering around the house, or working on that sunburn relaxing on the beach with a fishing pole in his hand.

Susan has been with Pampered Pet since 2006. She has always wanted to work around animals and is very proud of the unending small zoo within her family. An 80lb Collie named “Lexie” a 5lb min-pin “Mischa, ” a quaker parrot “Leilee, ” a parakeet “Sadie, ” an iguana “Rex,” 3 turtles “Larry” “Charlie” and “spike, ”lots of pretty fish, and a Persian-mix kitten that she had the honor of rescuing and named “Snow Angel.

She loves nature, and a healthy life style, participating in church, visiting the elderly, sick and those down in spirit, and volunteering at her brother’s elementary school. She looks forward to playing with her zoo , but most importantly of all spending time with those she loves. Her biggest goal right now is to finish college with a major in nutrition and a minor in agriculture. She loves life and makes every second count, unfortunately there’s “bad” in order for good to fulfill its destiny, she’s determined in being the good in that balance and letting God guide her every step.

I started working here at Pampered Pet Health Center in August of 2003. Before I got my position here, I was a client just like you. I fell in love with the atmosphere, along with the care and compassion for the pets. I mid 2005, I decided to take some time off to prepare for the birth of my first child. I stayed home with my son and helped with a childcare center, until I returned to Pampered Pet part-time in July 2007. I am grateful for the time I had with my son, but I truly missed working with animals-and that is when I knew I found the right line of work! I love to talk with our clients and learn all about their pets, and I enjoy the time I spend with them in the exam room. I have two dogs of my own, a Yorkshire terrier and a Shiba Inu. I do have a special interest in cats, and I have been called The Cat Lady once or twice in my life! I have one cat of my own, a beautiful Domestic Long Hair. I would love to have more cats, but she is the Queen and runs the house. I am also a part-time student at Edison State College and a member of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. In the community, I am the Facilitator for the local Celiac Disease Foundation support group. I also do relief shifts at The Veterinary Emergency Clinic here in town. I live in Port Charlotte with my wonderful husband and my four-year-old son, and if you believe it we were all born here in Florida. I look forward to meeting you here at Pampered Pet Health Center!

  • Hayley Sadler

I joined the Pampered Pet Health Center as of 2009. I was born in New Hampshire, and my family moved to Florida in 1998. I have had a strong interest in all animals since I was young. I have a dog, a cat, and two rabbits. My dog, Buddy, was adopted from the Suncoast Humane Society. In addition to my love for many small animals, I also regularly ride, care for, and assist in the training of horses.

As a rising high school senior, I hope to turn my interest in animals into a career by continuing on to college. I hope to graduate from college with a degree in the veterinary field. I look forward to learning many new things and becoming a part of the amazing things that a pet hospital, like Pampered Pet Health Center, does for clients and their pets every day.
