• VET-STEM REGENERATIVE MEDICINE

• BLOOD TRANSFUSION

  We have access to a supply of blood for all types of pets in case of emergency. We get our blood products from the Animal Blood Bank where the blood is typed and screened for diseases prior to shipping. We can also collect from donor pets that live with their owners where the pets have been screened for disease. We participate in local blood programs to ensure we have access to safe blood products for both cats and dogs at all times.

• PET RESORT

  Pets are like our children – we feed, nurture and lavish attention on them. Our highly qualified staff do the same when you can't be there. We provide tender loving care (such as brushing, massages, frozen treats and cuddling), and supervised outdoor playtime & potty time to keep them happy and active.   All of our vacationers stay in climate controlled suites & condos.  We have Yappy Hour each day where pets in our resort get a Kong toy with treats to stimulate their mind as well as have some fun while with us. We also cater to exotic pets at our resort. All of our visitors ask to come back and stay again.

• DENTAL CARE

  We take extra measures to provide the safest, best care available to keep your pet free from pain and infection. We understand client concerns of anesthetizing their pet for a dental procedure. We ensure each pet's safety with a thorough exam prior to the procedure, pre-anesthetic blood work to evaluate organ function, blood levels and electrolyte levels as well a trained anesthetic monitoring assistant. There is always one person dedicated specifically to ensure your pet's safety and to monitor vitals while under anesthetic and another to perform the necessary procedures and treatments. Regular professional dental cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Trained dental technicians use curretage and root planing to remove plaque and calculus on root surfaces. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity. Oravet is applied to the tooth surface to help keep bacteria and plaque from forming on the teeth in the next 2 weeks. We utilize digital radiography for evaluating your pet's teeth below the gum line.  We provide pain medication for procedures more involved than just a routine cleaning like we would get at the dentist. We use nerve blocks to stop the pain before it has a chance to start. We also send home oral medications to ensure your pet is comfortable and eating after their procedure. We provide 1 year of dental follow-up visits after our dental procedures to ensure healing and home dental care success. Our team is dedicated to helping each client's success in home care to reduce the number of professional dental cleanings needed. Our technicians will help with education and training of tooth brushing in your dog or cat. We are dedicated to maintaining a healthy mouth to aid in the health of organs affected by bacteria on the teeth and under the gums.

• EMERGENCY AND CRITICAL CARE

  In any emergency, seconds count. Our experienced staff is trained in all pet first aid and our hospital is stocked and equipped to administer the ABCs of basic life support – Airway, Breathing, Circulation/Cardiac compressions. Emergency care is offered during regular business hours. In addition, we use the services of a local, fully staffed emergency center, The Veterinary Emergency Clinic.

  We stock a wide range of the best veterinary drugs and herbal therapies in the animal healthcare field. If we don't have on premises we offer it on our online store. We understand the needs of our clients to get products shipped directly to their homes. We provide this service through our regular hospital and with our online store as well.

• HOSPICE/EUTHANASIA SERVICES

  Saying goodbye to a long-time friend is painful. We work with clients to ensure their pet's comfort and dignity. Services include at home euthanasias, in clinic euthanasia, private cremation with ashes returned, communial cremation, home burial and memorial services. We understand that pets can be diagnosed with a terminal disease and palliative care is needed. We have medications and services to assist with hospice needs. We are sensitive to the needs of our clients for the time they need to say goodbye. We help to ensure comfort and quality of life until the end. We want the journey to the Rainbow Bridge as peaceful and dignified as possible.

• MICROCHIPPING

  Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families. We offer Home Again microchip products to increase the chances of a safe recovery. Our program includes 1 year of registration with Home Again and a network of veterinarians, shelters and pet advocates dedicated to reuniting you with your beloved pet. Home Again offers the ability to update your contact information online quickly to ensure their ability to contact you in case of your pet being lost. They also have complimentary pet insurance to cover injuries your pet may sustain during the time they were lost. Shelters all have scanners to identify microchipped pets. Pets with a microchip will have a higher chance of being treated for their injuries prior to reaching the owner than if no microchip was present. One quick injection done while your pet is awake will permenantly identify your beloved cat, dog, ferret or bird as yours. It only takes one time for a visitor to accidentally leave the door open too long for the cat to sneak out, a happy dog to jump the fence, or a bird to fly away. A microchip increases your chances of having your baby returned to you. Pampered Pet Health Center can do the procedure any day we are open to ensure your pet's safety.

• NUTRITIONAL COUNSELING

  Nutrition is the building blocks for a healthy and happy life in all living things. Our pets have special requirements and deserve quality nutrition. Pampered Pet Health Center only uses Royal Canin, Harrison's Bird Diets or home cooked diets to ensure pets get the correct, balanced nutrition they deserve. We have diets that not only taste great and provide great nutrition, but can also help prevent disease in specific genetically predisposed breeds.  The caring and educated team at Pampered Pet can help you choose the diet that will not only be the most beneficial to your pet, but they will like as well. We also have our Fit For Life Coach to help clients with their pets that have put on a few extra pounds. We have a wonderful weight loss program to aid in successful weight loss and maintenance. There are rewards for success along the way! We understand how important it is for your pet to maintain a healthy weight to reduce the risks of many diseases. We also realize that not all pets fit into commercially prepared pet foods and we have integrative home cooked diets specifically formulated to aid in providing appropriate nutrition as well as the ability to help with disease processes. Our doctors will always recommend the diet that will extend the quality and quantity of life your fur baby deserves. Our avian patients are especially sensitive to their diets. Chemicals, fertilizers and dyes can have serious side effects on the quality of life for our birds. Harrison's Bird Diets are organic, dye free, and pelleted to ensure the safest, highest level of nutrition available. Birds on these diets have brighter eyes, better plummage and are much healthier that birds on any other diets. We also have bird breads and treats that are organic and healthy for your avian baby.

• PAIN MANAGEMENT

  Veterinary patients feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do. We know that recognizing and alleviating pain in pets is the essence of good patient care.  Our doctors belong to the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management to ensure all of our patients are getting the most current, safe and efficacious pain control available. Every patient that is examined at Pampered Pet is given a pain score to evaluate their current level of pain, even if they are not visiting us for a painful issue. Every patient undergoing a potentially painful procedure is given pain medications to keep them comfortable prior to the procedure, during and after. We provide injectable pain medications, oral pain medications as well as integrative pain management. Acupuncture is a safe and effective pain management therapy we utilize for many procedures and ailments.
